Dear Hugo Intermediate Families,

 Welcome to the start of the 2017-2018 school year! This year is all about the 3R’s; ensuring that Hugo Intermediate students are Respectful, Responsible and Ready to learn and Lead! In addition to our continued focus on ELA and math, students will also engage in lessons and activities designed to develop character and promote student leadership. We are proud of what we’ve accomplished thus far and remain committed to increasing student achievement and helping our students become college and career ready. Thanks to our dedicated team of teachers, students, parents and staff we are Aiming for Excellence, Building Community and Creating Leaders!

We believe that communication and parental involvement will only enhance our success. Parents can stay informed by visiting our website, listening to School Reach phone calls or text messages. We also encourage parents to get involved in our school community by joining the PTO, assisting in the classroom, planning events and activities and/or chaperoning on fieldtrips. Your time is a significant investment in student learning; we welcome and appreciate the support.
