All students that pass an AR quiz on or above their reading level will receive a prize from the Prize Box. In order to receive the prize, students must show the librarian they have passed a quiz, or bring their reading folder to the library initialed by their teacher. Only one prize will be awarded daily to each individual student.
Drawing for Prizes - 5 Names will be drawn from all students that pass a quiz during the course of a week
Braum’s Certificate - For every five quizzes passed during the course of the month, students will receive a certificate.
Monthly Highscores - The Month’s Top 20 readers will receive a Taco Bell certificate for that month.
Monthly Prize Drawing for a 4th Grader and a 5th Grader. Students must pass at least 2 quizzes per month to get their name put in the drawing.
For every 65 quizzes that a student passes, they will receive a free lunch of their choice from the Library Menu.
When a student passes 100 quizzes, they get to be Librarian of the Day. (Only obtainable once per school year.)
Reading Reward Trip - Top 12 readers with the highest points will go on a trip at the end of the year.
The goal is for students to build their points consistently each month throughout the school year, rather than earning the majority of their points at the end of the year. Students who do not meet this goal may not be eligible to go on the Reading Rewards Trip.
For every student that passed at least one quiz during the course of the year, their name will be put into a drawing. One student will be drawn from both 4th grade and 5th grade.
The highest reader from each grade will be awarded a large prize.
