Hugo Intermediate School

All students that pass an AR quiz on or above their reading level will receive a prize from the Prize Box.  In order to receive the prize, students must show the librarian they have passed a quiz, or bring their reading folder to the library initialed by their teacher.  Only one prize will be rewarded daily to each individual student.

Drawing for Prizes - 5 Names will be drawn from all students that pass a quiz during the course of a week.

• Pizza Hut Certificates - Must pass at least 3 quizzes.
• Top 12 readers will receive a Taco Bell certificate.
• Monthly Prize Drawing for a 4th Grader and a 5th Grader. Students must pass at least 2 quizzes per month to get their name put in the drawing.

• Braum’s Book Buddy Certificate - Students will receive a certificate for every 5 quizzes they pass.
• When a student passes 50 quizzes, they will get to be librarian for the day.
• When a student passes 65 quizzes, they will receive a free lunch with the Principal, Teacher, Librarian, Secretary, etc. (their choice).
• When a student passes 75 quizzes, they will receive a free lunch with the Superintendent.

• Reading Reward Trip - Top 12 readers.
• 4 Prize Drawings - Name goes into the drawing for every 10 points earned during the year on AR.
• The highest reader from each grade will be awarded a large prize.
